Born in New Orleans, Linda was actually raised in Guatemala where her family was in the coffee and the automobile business.  She is fluent in both Spanish and French.  Linda received her Certificate of the French Language from the Sorbonne University in Paris and her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Loyola University in New Orleans.

Before she moved to Asheville, Linda spent six years buying and remodeling homes in Chattanooga, TN.  Prior to that, she was a video producer for 20 years and a public relations consultant for 10 years. 

Linda enjoys hiking, camping and canoeing in her spare time and has volunteered in pet therapy with her dog, Cartecay.
