A Hendersonville native and REALTOR® since 1970, Jim is the Broker/Owner of the S. Hendersonville office, which has been in business since 1970.  He graduated from Furman University with a B.A. in Economics, joining the U.S. Army in 1957 to serve active duty in Germany then retiring to the National Guard, for a total of 35 years’ military service.  Over the years, Jim has served as President of the Hendersonville Board of REALTORS®, President of the Hendersonville MLS (twice) and on the Hendersonville Board of REALTORS® Board of Directors.  He enjoys playing tennis and is married with five children and eleven grandchildren.
